shifter cables

well i found out the reason my car was hard to get into gear...

it was one of the shifter cables. i brought the car in when i got off work today to take a look at everything and re-bleed my clutch. and i had one of the guys i work with play around with the cables. when he pushed the cable down a bit, the shifting got really smooth...

anyone else have this problem???

why would it be like this? i also had this problem before i put my new clutch in so its not like i damaged anything installing the new clutch

does anyone make aftermarket/ upgraded cables? or should i take the car to the dealer and have it warrantied? it only has 7200 miles on it, so i dont think it will be a problem

It could be those BR shifter bushings you're using.

Doesn't the MR come with better Teflon lined shifter cables anyway? I was hoping I could use them in my GSR. My friends FQ340 is the best shifting Evo I have ever driven. I thought the Teflon cables contributed to it.

Could be the bushings.

I have to lubricate mine once or twice a year or they seize up a bit, and make shifting hard.
