Slippage and vibration

I have a new Evo IX SE. I have about 5000 miles on it now. About 500 miles ago, I noticed there is now a vibration when then car is cold. If I drive for a mile or so, the vibration goes away. This only seems to happen after my car has sat overnight. During the day, if I park for an hour or two, the vibration does not come back until the next day.

Also, sometimes when the car is cold, when I put it in first and start to accelerate, the car feels like it is slipping. It won't catch gear unless I put the clutch back in and release. Then it catches and everything is smooth. No problems shifting or anything. I am going to take it in for repair, I just want to go in with a little idea of what it may be.

I did a search and did not find much similar to this. Sorry if these are common issues that have already been addressed. I am thinking problem 1 might be the acd locking up causing the vibration. And problem 2, sounds like it might be the clutch but I baby my car pretty well and do not launch or drop the clutch. Could this also be an acd issue?

Thank you for any input.

Zoom zoom : Dealer!!

Btw dont accelarate or boost when car is cold no good.. One mile not even enough to heat the engine, gear, diffs, etc...

You didnt specify where the vibration? Is it clucth, gear, steering, etc..

Yeah I try to keep it out of boost until the car is warmed up. But the vibration happens even out of boost. I feel it mostly in the steering wheel. Sometimes its bad enough I feel it in my seat. Then it goes away. I don't have any mods so if it is the clutch; I hope they don't give me too many problems. I don't abuse my car, but I have heard horror stories regarding clutch warrantees.

It's could be the tires that your feeling. they are soft and when they sit over night they get a little flat in that are that they were sitting all night. This effect is exagerated once the tires are not new anymore. See what the dealer says though. Not sure about your clutch issues.

I have the same thing happen to me when the car sits overnight, I guessed that it was the tires or the acd fluid being cold, after a few miles it goes away.It almost sounds like a little tire roar imo.
