Hi guys,

I got screwed on the purchase of my 03. Bsically I bought the car sight unseen so I knew there were risks of course, but the only reason I picked this particular one was because the owner said the T-case had been replaced. Well I got home and it was leaking oil, got under it and it was coming from the T-case. On the way home I noticed it was whining pretty badly compared to my previous 04.

Ive now come to terms that it is shot and will eventually blowup if I dont get it replaced. But my question is do you guys think I have any chance getting insurance to pay for it?? I have allstate by the way.

The only reason I ask is because I would have to put it on a credit card being as I have no money saved, and I just dont want to put my self in debt that badly right now.

 

Even if the insurance would do something for you they would hit you with a higher premium because of the claim. I would see if you can work something out with the shop or owner that sold you the car. Best of luck man.

 

i suggest you go with a shep 04 RS Transfer case for replacement..
