Seibon Hood Owners have a ? for u

I have a question im picking up a siebon cf hood tomm and it has a very thick silver mesh. Is there away to take the thicker silver mesh out and replace it with the factory mesh. I see the factory hood mesh is installed with nuts so it will come out. does the seibon have the same thing is thre away to put my stocker in there. If so anyone know how to or is there a write up? Has anyone painted theres black?

Yes, you can transfer the stock vent setup to the Seibon hood.
The Seibon vent is held in by epoxy and some folding tabs.
Fold back the tabs and carefully separate the mesh from the epoxy.
Transfer the stock mesh to the Seibon hood. Fabricate some tabs to put over the bolts on the stock mesh that will extend to the underside of the hood. Install the vents and install the nuts. The tabs might have to be adjusted to hold the mesh in tight. You can also transfer the heat shielding over to the Seibon.
Took me about 25 minutes to get it all transferred over.

No and no. It's super easy. Once you have the jist of it, take a look at both hoods together and it should all fall into place.
Really, it is incredibly easy.
