I got my EVO VIII a month ago and everything seems fine. The engine light came on last week for a day and it's been gone since. I still took it to autozone and they came up with a PO440 and PO335.

the 440 i guess is typically a fuel cap issue but I checked it and it was tight.

335 says there is a malfunction in the electrical circuit for the crankshaft positioning sensor. Anyone else deal with this before?

 

Im not too familiar with that but maybe you can find out a way to test the sensor and go from there.
