Hi all from New Zealand

I've currently got a JDM spec 2003 Evo 8 which has an HKS Silent Hi-power cat back exhaust.

I'm considering purchasing a JDM spec 2006 Evo 9, which still has the factory exhaust.

Can someone please tell me if I would simply be able to bolt the HKS exhaust from my Evo 8 onto the Evo 9?

yes you can ..
they are the same car .. with diffrent bumpers and a new turbo and mivec for the Evo 9 ..

 

The HKS site in Japan shows two different part numbers.

The rear bar is different - they extend different lengths

I think the 8 exhaust would poke out further from the 9 rear bar, and there is the possibility of it touching the bumper and melting it.

Can be fixed with a cut and weld though
