It's from the factory.
They lost a magnetic tip to their building socket.
Keeps the bolt on the tip til they install..

You'd be surprised at some of the stuff they lose in your car at build time.
My uncle worked at Ford for years in Detroit.

actually.. the cam angle sensor has a magnet inside it, i just found out today when my sensor fell and stuck itself to my engine harness.. the black plastic piece has a magnet inside, dont know if this has to do anything with the magnet you found though!
