If you like the car and can talk them down a bit, go for it.

Okay, I've listened to your opinions and they make sense. I had a few questions , though. Plenty of you keep saying to get a new IX...it's August of 2007, can you still buy them new?

Also, I understand what you guys are saying how $29,000 is a lot for a 2005...but the value of it as over $30,000. I know that KBB doesn't take into account that they were driven hard, but this car doesn't feel or sound like it was. Even though it still may have been, there aren't any signs of it and they aren't going to lower the price for that.

Another thing is that this dealership is giving me what I need on a trade-in for my current car. I can't go through a private seller cause I need to get rid of this car first. And I'm not in a rush, but winter is around the corner here, and my current car is a roadster. I need something a little more practical in the next month or so.

Matt

dont rush, check the other dealers for prices, compare MR as you know is always more expensice i say 2-3k more. I cannot tell you if 28.9 is a good price, seems a little high but that depends which state you live in. check autotrader see how much they want near you.

GL with purchase!

p/s: make sure you get a set of winter tires or check if the MR has all season which are fine, but do not use summer tires thru winter its dangerous and no fun. :d

I wouldn't buy it for 29 unless they threw in all maintenence and a clutch.
Brake pads
Diff changes (oil)
TC change " "
Crank case " "
New A046's

Think about a brand new RS for that price. I never use my ac. I use 4/60. Four windows down at 60 mph. I dont think I would miss creature comforts that much.
I know exactly what and who did whatever to my vehicle. And the biggest thing being NO SURPRISES.
If your looking for used, put your vehicle on consignment or autotrader. And buy private party. Save yourself a headache. Old men buy evos two and get tired of them pretty quick. Living back East, you should have some of the best pickins. Look around, or make demands at the stealership.
