SE Lip Clips

A 4x6 on I-81 claimed my SE Lip. All I have remaining is most of the hardware. These screws are still on the bumper. but as you can see hanging off of them are some plastic "L" shaped clips. I don't remember these being on the bumper when I removed my lip once before. Are they part of the bumper, the lip, or something else?

I've spoken extensively with Bill aka Spins4 and we cannot determine what these clips belong to. I've had the lip off once and don't recall these clips being on the lip OR bumper...

Thanks!

I think they are part of the lip.

There is a break down of the front fascia parts.

I was looking at that piece too, but it appears that that piece is just in the center part of the bumper rather than all the way across the front. Unfortunatly I dont have this in stock to look at. I wish I could crawl up under that fascia and look at the underside of it...then I could probably tell you 100% what you needed.

I don't know where to turn for a definitive answer and it's driving me nuts! I just need to know if it's worth claiming insurance or not. The car looks terrible.

No thats the problem, it broke off and then was run over numerous times. I didn't have time to stop and go back and get it as I was already doing 80 and didn't feel like walking 1/2 a mile on the side of an interstate.

Well you have a blow up of the fascia parts. Have you tried getting up under it to see what resides behind lower lip and if you are missing something there. Im think that those were part of your lip, but its hard to say.

No I haven't but I know that all the screws that are still in the bumper attached to the clips are what screwed in directly to the SE Lip. There were about 15 or so screws across the front bumper area. I will check under the car but I know the screws are what held the lip on directly except on the side where the plastic rivets go.

I shipped out my last lip on Thursday or I would take a look. I will look on Tuesday to see if I have one that Im missing to look at. Im not sure if its worth turning over to insurance. What kind of deductible do you have?
