Titanium actually is used on alot of things that need to withstand heat. Take jets for example. Almost all of the exhaust parts are made of Titanium, plus its light.

Lots a sport bikes now sport full-titanium exhaust systems. They're light and strong. What's telling is that the Full Race system is so much more expensive compared to this Ti manifold.

true about the sport bikes

GSX R1000, ZX 10, and R1 all come with titanium headers from the factory stock!

no problems with them what so ever

And if you actually ever worked on a motorcycle, you'd know that there is no engine flex like in passenger cars. There's a reason why cars have 2-3 motor and tranny mounts. Bikes can use Titanium tubed products because they have almost zero flex (even when revved to their fuel cuts.) A titanium manifold is just asking for trouble.
