ams licp /fmic installation problem.

Ok the problem is where they connect it seems way off the ams LICP fit with the stock fmic, but now the ams FMIC one i cant get it to go on. i dunno what could be the problem. Besides i have to use the stock coupler for it. Could that be the problem?

the stock coupler may be too short. U might want to purchase a longer silicone 45 degree bend coupler. This should fix the problem.

I have the same set up, AMS-FMIC & LICP using the stock coupler, and have had no problem. Got some pics?

yeah ill get some pics its kind of hard to describe it almost looks like id need a coupler in the shape of a S to make it connect.

Sorry i was pretty tired when i posted.

I bought the AMS LICP, and FMIC at different times almost 2 years difference now. And where they both connect to each other is a pretty good ways off. I am not to sure what could be the issue with it, I'm trying to use the stock coupler because the FMIC didnt have any with it.

There shouldn't be any fitment issues with the AMS LIP and their intercooler. As far as I know they have changed the sizes of either part in the past 2 years. the only thing that they may have done since then is add a braket support for the LIP. Try adjusting the coupler that comes off of the turbo and also the coupler that connects the two pieces of the LIP. You have to adjust all the parts to make a perfect fitment for sure, but in the end it should definitely work for you.
