Congrats on getting an awesome car. Don't listen to the people that are bashing it because the RX-8 is one of the best sports car for under 30K right now.
Im not so sure you got such a great deal though because I was looking at them too before I settled on the Evo and the mazda dealer quoted me 24K new although it didn't have the leather seats and was prety basic.

rx8 is a downgrade..you thought the evo was a maintance *****..ROFL....the rx8 stock is a maintance *****

 

The only way I would have any respect for you after getting rid of your EVO 9 for a RX8, is if you told us that you could no longer aford the EVO and needed to downgrade for financial reason. The fact that you got rid of your EVO becuase you out grew it and got a RX8 makes me feel bad for you when you realize the mistake you made. When you out grow a EVO you get a Audi or BMW or a nice SUV not a RX8?????? We should ban you.

 

I would not of even came on here and made a post about buying RX8, maybe you can get one of the mods to delete this entire thread before to many people read it.

Tell the truth! As on why you downgrade your ride. Who's on your avatar anyway? Rotary engine not compatible in snow as long as you have a winter beater.

Mazda definitely is no joke, look at SCCA.

But I don't understand how you outgrew the evos and went to the RX8?

I actually like the appearance of the evo better than the RX8.

Then there's the fact that the mazdaspeed 3 and 6 would run circles around Mazdas' "sports car".

IMHO the RX8 was a huge flop since it is a NA rotary that was overrated from the factory. Every time the hp numbers went down, so did my interest.

The RX8 is for 40 year old MILFS who want polished or chrome wheels to look cool. As far as more grown up, the speed 6 would have been the logical choice.

Why would any person go from an 06 mr to a used, scratched 05 RX8?

You obviously have the mod disease because you had 2 evo's, now you are completely neutered because the RX8 does not respond well to any mods other than the above referenced chrome wheels.

uh.........take it back and get your mr from who ever was lucky enough to rip it out of your hands in the first place.
