how great is the evo
Ive had mine for over 3yrs now and probably love it more now than the day I got it. This car is my pride and joy. Im not a materialistic person. I can do without super nice clothes, a huge house, 5 cars, etc. Just give me my family, good health, and my EVO and I'm a happy dude.
The evo was my dream car when i was in college and as soon as I got out, I bought myself one...the best graduate gift ever that I bought myself. I am holding on to her for a long time and eventually I'll get a X lol
Then I went to Deal's Gap, NC...visited Killboy's territory. I fell in love with the car all over again, insane handling, grip, I remembered why this was my dream car when I was younger.
Anyway I just came back from Deal's gap again this weekend (13 hour drive) and love it even more.

The only thing I've seriously thought about giving up the Evo for is a sportsbike; but then, knowing myself, I'd have to get the fastest, most powerful one I could afford, and since I've never even been on a bike before, I probably wouldn't last too long...
I'm heading there for a few days at the end of the month. I've been wanting to go ever since I first heard about it a couple of years ago, and I figure it's going to be a blast in the Evo.

If it's you are a first time rider, buy a cheap ugly bike for a couple months - everyone drops their bike, especially early on. 600cc bikes are insanely fast BTW.
Deal's Gap -- incredible experience. The roads around there are also awesome. Take 28 from US129(the gap) and you'll see. Check out the Blue ridge Parkway - beautiful road and only park rangers can give tickets. I've blasted through there a bunch of times and they don't have radar...thank you Valentine 1.
i posted this a couple times already...but for the past few months i really considered getting something with a v8 (for low end torque and n/a throttle response), and domestic (for less cop hassle since i live in Cali)....but man i just cannot find anything that can put as big a smile on my face as the Evo....im just gonna throw more mods on my car and enjoy it
awd handling + 5 seats/4 doors + turbo = win. nothing comes close to the overall package the Evo offers without spending outrageous amount of money. well the Sti's pretty close...but...

Well put. I couldn't agree more. The next logical step for me is Porsche or Ferrari. Outrageous, indeed.
