Stock ECU question immobilizer
Something is wrong with my stock ecu.
I am trying to get another one. Will it work plug and play?
Do I have to bring it to the dealer to flash the codes or something?
or
Can I have a friend, who has the tactrix cable do it?
I'm not sure on how this works. Also would he be able to pull the flash I had on my ecu and put on the new ecu?
thanks.

You can not simple plug and play one Evo ECU for another. You need your immobilizer code. What is wrong with your ECU anyway?
It is possible to load up another flash onto your ECU with the tactrix cable, but you still need your immobilizer code inputted onto it.

can a tactrix cable get the immobilizer code?
I don't know what's wrong with the ecu.
my mechanic said that car wouldn't start. Our clue was from the blown ecu fuse in the engine bay. I put in the my aem box and it started fine. Sooo I gotta check with another stock ecu.
