Evolution VI Owners

How much did you guys end up spending bringing your VI's over ? Are parts harder to find than the later generation Evolutions ? Are there any servicing problems that I should be aware of ? For example: I remember that people who own the Evo VII RS I said that they couldn't service the AYC because North American Mitsu dealers didn't have the machine.

Any advice would be great, i'm looking to bring in a TME RSII.

I have a evo VI TME RS and it was already here so i didn't deal with any of the importing , parts are a little harder to find, very few evo 8 parts fit the 6 because of the 4,5,6 and the 7,8,9 grouping, I'm still working to find a clutch (i think the same as the 8) for mine.

I did find a shop here in the us that sells European parts so they have stuff for it just a bit on the pricey side. As far as servicing I dont have AYC so it's pretty basic and I do it myself.

There is this car

it's just not the TME and i think they want a whole lot for it, but would probably be easier to get setup here.

I have an evo V and parts aren't hard to find at all. I do all the servicing my self as well.

as for clutch in your TME, evo VIII clutch will work fine. you'll just need to use evo VIII flywheel because your stock one is smaller
