help with electrical problem...

ok ive been having thisproblem for about a month...it happened out of the blue.

my boost gauge only turns on when my lights are on, never did this before. also my wideband takes forever to turn on unless the lights are on.

but my battery died on me today so i jumped my car and it just started working again, just like there supposed to...

anyways i bought a new battery and now its back to only working when my lights are turned on..

whats happening here?

thanks in advance.

which wires did you tap into? if it is not a wiring problem, it's the equipment. what kind of gauge and wideband do you have? something may have a short internally. good luck. electrical problems suck.
