The upper pipe and that atmospheric bov isn't making any power on this setup from what I see.
thats definitely not too high..look at all of the other 03 evos for sale just on this forum and they have more miles..i'd say thats a good price

^ Agreed I have almost 80k on my 03 and I would not sell it for less than 18k not a chance. Plus whoever buys my car is getting an exceptionally maintained EVO. If not

^ Doesn't matter it would be very easy to bring that engine bay back to totally stock looking. If the car wasn't tracked to often then I think it would be a good deal.

He has a VTA blow off valve (it should be recirculating)
He wrapped the stock exhaust mainfold (stock mani is cast, take the wrap off and check for cracks)
Ask for all the stock parts but looks fine to me
Good Luck

I really don't think thats too much for an 03...depends on the condition of the car.

Not a bad price. I just paid 19.5K for a bone stock 03 with 40k on it and it was from a dealer. If it is a private seller I think you should be able to talk him down. evoix10 has the right idea on the wrapped manifold.

If you wanna buy that EVO for 18 THOUSAND DOLLARS...<--- I have some swampland in Florida Id like to sell you for 16 STACKS then, you can save 2K and buy a 1G that should run high 12's with a datalogger and a MBC. Its a paradise.... Look what you have to look forward too!!! And also if you like the 2G, just like the picture shows. Never buy a 2G DSM without a 1G 6 bolt "sexual chocolate" block on 2G pistons and 1G rods. And NEVER, NEVER buy a Evo with heat tape on the damn radiator hose and that just looks like bad luck. Good luck!!

Isnt that one of those used batteries you can buy at Advance or Auto Zone?

It looks like the UICP hose is frayed. Personally, I'd look for a bonestock Evo. You gamble buying someone else's (self inflicted) problems otherwise.
