Evo IX Cel Fix Didn't Work
i have an Evo IX and i recently installed a Perrin HFC, Greddy Ti-C Catback, and an Invidia o2 Housing. my CEL came on and i tried the CEL fix where you put the 2 antifoulers on the o2 sensor and it didnt work. could this be because the o2 sensor on the Evo IX is on the factory catalytic converter? would it be a problem if i moved the o2 sensor onto the Greddy Ti-C Midpipe and plugged the Perrin HFC bung? could something else be triggering the CEL?
Forget the foulers, disable the code via the ECU.

There's no problem moving the rear O2 from where the factory cat was to the rear of the new high flow cat.
Prior to the ECU hack people would simply add a third fouler to the sensor and that normally did the trick. I am running an 3" TBE w/testpipe and have the sensor screwed in to the EVO8 position (no foulers) with the ECU hack. No code.

that's the very first thing i did when i installed my new parts. the CEL was off, but came back on after around 40 miles. i disconnected it again and the CEL came on again after another 40 miles. it happened again after i installed the antifoulers. how can i get the CEL code? i was meaning to check that.
After you install the antifouler, you have to clear the code by disconnecting the negative battery terminal.

or maybe my dumbass installed the Perrin HFC backwards. i put the o2 sensor bung beside the downpipe and i think that's why my CEL kept coming on. i'll fix it right now and see if the CEL shuts off for good.
Not sure if I am going to help out the post much but I have an IX and run a Works downpipe, Works hi-flow cat and a TurboXS catback. I have the rear 02 sensor mounted in the catback with no anti-foulers and so far, no problem.
Could the light/code be for something else of maybe the cat is mounted incorrectly?

CEL light came back on even after flipping the HFC around. im gonna try installing the o2 sensor on the midpipe. if that doesnt work then i think my o2 sensor on the o2 housing isn't working properly because i had to lengthen it when i installed the Invidia o2 housing. i cut one of the wires on the plug end too short so i might've messed it up that way.
