Idleing at 925-950ish stock evo 8

hey
I just picked up a 03 evo8, and i love it. Just a quick question, i noticed the car idles a little higher than what stock idle is. THe mods are hks intake, downpipe stock exhaust, turbo, intercooler bov. I dont get why. Any suggestions? let me know what you guys think thanks

The previous owner adjusted the idle on the throttle body. If it were set at a lower rpm, the car would pretty much die at every stop you come to. The intake/bov is effecting your idle.

Sorry i actually meant the mods are intake, and downpipe. The rest is stock. you still think that it would die at lights if it was lower?

No the car wouldn't die, it just depends on how low your thinking about lowering your idle to. I think I idle at around 750-800rpm at idle and only have a K&N drop in. You can lower it yourself while it's idling to where your comfortable with then you'll know if it'll run like crap or not.
