This happen to anybody??

I know alot of us take our front bumpers off from time to time to install new goodies. Has anyone ever notice this (see pics) by where the bumper fastens to the wheel well splash guard. Mine are untouched accept for this the plastic residue that was there was like a powder clump. The first pic is driver side and the second is pass side which looks like it is just starting. I am all stock suspension and tire wise only have 10k oh her and half of that is from two round trips to the dragon from LA. Any ideas on how to patch this?

Mine did it, but worse. The fastners broke and the wind pushed them right against the tires. $150 for a new set.

Okay I have figured it out and I feel pretty stupid too. I didn't notice after I first removed the bumper but I took a short drive after I changed out the LICP and the wind pushed these back into my tire since the bumper wasn't there to support them. You other guys that are having the same problem do you have your under tray on still.

Mine did that when I took off my front bumper to put a new IC on, and didn't get all of the clips on of that piece back in. I used the whole under the vents in the first pic to put a ziptie through and pull it back. I can't remember what I zip tied it too, but it pulled it away from the wheel(yes, i own a honda, so I fix everything with zipties). I want to say it may clip to the splash gaurd underneath, so if you remove the splash gaurd, like I did, there is not as much holding it back from the wheel.

I wouldn't recommend removing the shields. I did it once on my Prelude sh and rock plus other debris would basically ruin the door jams.
