i don't know about everyone else but i'm starting to catch the sti bug. the new sti looks sick, very agressive lines, i might just have to trade in the evo 8 lol.

If you want to be second in everything again get an STI.
Just because Subaru finally might have styled an STI with decent looks (only from the front view I might add) should not make you jump shimp. There is more to a car than the looks of it.

 

i like the look on the new STI. But its much better to know that you have a paid off evo with you rather than trading it in and do another 5-6 years more car payments. just my .02 cents

 

i like the current looks of the sti

but the new sti is growing on me a bit (only the front end though)
the tail end looks like *** though

have you people even seen the new sti? Its a hatchback and looks frighteningly similar to a ford escort. The Evo X, although it is also ugly, looks a lot better IMHO. The Evo X will also be technologically superior than the STI (The Evo X will have S-AYC, ACD, twin clutch, stiffer chassis, the STI has nothing). In my opinion the Evo 7-9 is much better than either of these two new cars.

 

Soninofadz, your right! The New Evo X has better technologies. I like the smoother shifting for everyday driving with the twin clutch that was design in WWII and better mpg, and new, more HP! Also the new look it's getting to look GOOD. Check out the link about the Twin clutch, it'll shift FASTER. like automatic! new Porches are getting it :

I'd rather have the new evo over the sti. The new sti looks like a focus with down syndrome.

The new Impreza hatch has too much Saturn/Opel design cues into it. But Subaru is going to lose about 50lbs from GDB, while Evo is going to gain like 150-200lbs from CT9A according to the rumors. Evo X is also rumored to be rated at 320hp, but no one knows if that will be 'underrated' figure like Evo IX was.

 

It's preference, i bet the sti owners think the same about evo owners. so shut your ***. n00b.
