ss braided turbo lines

Anyone use ss braided turbo lines for a stock turbo instead of the stock lines, or are those only for upgraded turbos. They just seem much easier to deal with than the hard lines.

You could, but why? Unless you are going to have the turbo out anyway, I wouldn't bother

SS braided lines are not so good for street cars because the lines act like sandpaper, rubbing thier way through anything thay contact. it typically costs 2-3x as much as its silicone counterpart. it is also not very flexible.

with silicone lines bieng more affordable, easier to route, less likely to cause problems such as eating through other lines etc.. it just makes more sense to go with quality silicone than the SS braided stuff unless your going for looks, or just bieng ****

Off the top of my head I can't imagine what the feed and drain lines would be rubbing against if he replaced them. Are you certain silicone is the right choice for hot *** oil going to and coming from the turbo?
