What Gauges?

Ok, im about to get some new gauges! I am looking into the Prosport Blue series! But am trying to figure out which ones! I already have a Defi Boost Gauge that came in the car when I got it so Im looking at what the next 3 gauges I need are. I have listed below the mods I have and plan to do!

Done:
Buschur Racing Mass Air Pipe and Filter
K&N Breather Filter
Hallman Pro RX MBC @ 22psi
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Forge DV/BOV

Coming up, in order:
Buschur Racing TBE w/test pipe
10.5 mm Turbo Housing
02 Housing

ETS 3.5" Intercooler Kit
ETS Mini Battery

GSC S1 Cams
APR Headstuds

AquamistAquamist HFS-1 Meth Kit

Exedy Carbon Twin Plate CLutch
Evo Throwout Bearing
Buschwacker Stage 1 Transmission

So with that what other Guages would you suggest?

Ive been told I need a AEM UEGO Wideband AFR Gauge..is the Prosport AFR gauge the same or good enough, $200 difference is why im wondering! Then besides that AFR, what else? I was thinking for the 3: Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR), Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT), and Oil Pressure! Are those three gauges a good set or what 3 would you suggest?

Thanks!

I'm guessing you want 3 because you wanna fill up a pillar with a triple pod? If you already have boost, you really only "need" AFR and oil pressure. Oil pressure is always a good gauge to have(AND WATCH!), same thing with AFR, especially when the weather starts changin and the car racks up the miles. Dirty injectors or boost leaks can cause weird afrs so its best to be able to catch em. Don't bother with EGT unless your gonna be messing with timing and AFRs yourself, which I wouldn't recommend.

go with the aem.. the difference is that one is a wideband the other is a narrow band a/f reader.. do research on it...

if you road race at all.. oil temp would be something to look into as well..

pro sport is not bad comapny though.. my gauges are pretty accurate...

Dose your boost gauge hook up to the control unit?

I dont think so, its just a single gauge that the guy before me had put in. It sits on the steering column, and the back of it has the vacume hose and power and ground wire running off it so I dont believe so. I also havent seen a unit anywhere.

Ok then its not a daisy chain gauge. If it was I would say stick with them, cause the install would be 10 times eaisier

Well i would love to stick with all DEFI Gauges, however when all their gauges are around $260 each, and the prosports are around $40 and all the reviews Ive seen say they are great gauges, especially for the price! When a gauge works great for $40, why spend $200+ more a piece when I can put that torwards power and performance mods? As long as the gauge works and does what its supposed to, no need to waste the money on the name instead of other mods! But I really appreciate all of your help!

I think im going to get the AEM UEGO Wideband, Prosport Oil Pressure and Temp Gauge!

The only thing about the prosport blue gauges is that they are hard to see during the day in direct sunlight. I have mine in the a-pillar. I have EGT and Boost with AEM UEGO for Wideband. The gauges look great at night, and accuracy is good too. Look at my car in my sig. The pics are about 2/3 the way down the first page.

Thanks alot, by the way your car looks great! And im hoping the direct sunlight thing isnt a big problem since I have 20% tint on the side windows and dont seem to get too much sunlight in that area! So Im going with AEM UEGO and Oil Pressure and Oil Temerature! THANKS!

Boost, EGT, Oil Pressure...the blue can definitely be a bit tough to see in day but is sweet at night for sure...I ran them personally for a while...

All you "need" is boost, wideband AFR, and a good data logging program in my opinion.

I'd go with an innovative wideband, then oil pressure and oil temp (two critical things to know when on the track).
