Based on what I've read people have been getting the most gains from comp cams on 8's.

im getting 272's but HKS or COSI? HKS are more, if they are better ill pay more, if the Cosi are getting better results, Ill be happy to pay less.
I understand their is a specific way they act throughout the power band meanwhile everyone just wants peak numbers which dont mean as much.
I just do not want to be unsatisfied with HKS if i pay they extra money.

03- HKS 272/272 or Cosi 272/272

I have HKS 272 e/i but no direct before and after numbers. My tune was with basic bolt on and cams. My graph is pretty square in transition from TQ to HP. I enjoy them and they sound good.

What kind of mods did you have at that time if you dont mind me asking? (I'm assuming that was before alky and the IX turbo) I am thinking i'll sit at around those numbers after i put in comp 280's 10.5 hotside and 02 housing this week.

I currently have a catless tbe, turboxs copy fmic, injen upper lower pipes injen intake, turbo xs ebc. and the supporting mods such as fuel pump clutch etc.

Revolvers have the best gains from what ive heard, but i also think they have gone out of business or something, but thats just rumors. GSC's seem to produce really good gains and seem to have similar characteristics as the Revolvers, but without head work. They both have 264 or 262 degree's, but their lift, duration and all produce excellent results. Average seems to be 30whp with the cams and a dyno tune.
