Has anybody tried LeadingEdge Lubricants?

They sell this locally and was wondering if anybody has ever tried this in their transmission? It meets all OEM guidelines and is fairly inexpensive. I did a search but didn't come up with anything. Thanks.

So nobody has tried this brand or even heard of them? I know the manufacturer owns a 700hp SRT-4, but you can't hold that against him.

They are claiming up to 20hp and 19ftlb of torque with just an oil addative, sounds fishy to me.

I am quite familiar with the pros of Diaqueen and Redline, but there are other brands out there that offer just as good protection and that is why I am asking about this brand to see if it falls into that category.

I saw that as well. I am more concerned with the transmission fluid though.

I'm all for trying new stuff out, but I'd rather stick to something proven when dealing with something like my transmission.

I agree, but this stuff is also advertised on HorsepowerTV.

I ran Leading Edge stuff in my Mazda. Never had any issues with it though. That car was way underpowered so I didn't feel any increase in performance from just the use of their product. I hope this helps a bit.

I decided to try their transmission fluid and so far I haven't had any issues. I know it's too soon to tell. When I was draining the Royal Purple that I had in there previously I was surprised how much in metal shavings I had attached to the plug. We'll see how the LeadingEdge works out and if I am not happy with it then I will switch to BGII or Redline.

I have tried Leading Edge and Royal Purple. In my opinion they are identical. Both seem "thin" for lack of a better explanation. Also, I have found that using Lucas additives as well as either of these products seemed to make a big difference in the way the shifting feels. It felt smoother, not so sloppy if that makes sense. Oh yeah, and I am in no way affiliated with any of the above mentioned products.
