im looking to get part of my hood and ix se lip painted black. for something little like that, what would you think the general price range would be. ive never had a car painted, so i have no idea of the prices, thanks.

 

in my opinion I wouldn't waste your money painting it black. What's wrong with your stock color? If you want it black, spend the money and replace it with carbon fiber pieces, it would just look weird. I know a company is coming out with the carbon fiber SE lip, can't remember right now.

 

the hood it depends, maybe like 250 and the lip is about 125...it all depends on the type of shop and location...

 

Dont paint, on the hood, if you are only doing part, get it vinyld that way you can take it off if you dont like it, i would paint the lip though, i dont see why you couldnt go do it yourself with some primer and stuff

 

i guess i probably can paint the lip myself. but the vinyl on the hood is beyond my abilities. not sure how that whole thing works.
