So my Evo got hit in a parking lot!

Good news is a cop saw the whole thing....I got a police report and all of the insurance info.....so the car will get fixed by the other insurance company.

The Evo was hit in the drivers side front fender.....very mild dammage...thier is a crease in the fender so it needs a new one. I was wondering how much a fender is from the dealer? Also I would rather get a fender from another Evo so the paint will match....Im not sure how good a body shop can match Electric Blue Pearl. So, if anyone knows where to get a EBP fender let me know!

Another thing....my wheel got scratched....I think it took most of the impact. Im thinking of asking the insurance company for a new wheel and alignment just incase it pushed if out of line.

i just recently had my car repaired. a new fender will cost you around $400 from body shop plus cost to paint it. insurance will give you a new wheel and alignment, you don't need to worry about it, my wheel took a hit thats how I knew. A good body shop can match the paint, but you have to find it, if you live in jersey I can refer you to mine.

Nope...St. Louis....I know a few good people so I think I can get it hooked up. $400 seems cheap for an Evo fender....with it being aluminum and all.

Pics or it didn't happen.

p.s. get the alignment, but have them align it to your specs (if you are picky about it). And also fight for the new wheel, or take a appearance allowance if the scuff don't bother you.

and if you are worried about paint matching - I would fight for having your adjacent panels blended. Not always do the paints from other Evo's match, because they could have been from a different batch of paint, or it could have been painting white before and not cleaned their equipment well enough, ecetera eceteara

I mauled my front fender/spoiler against the curb while pulling off a gas station... felt like a total idiot. Replacement of the whole assembly was $280 + $120 (labor).

Man! I was just impressed that a cop took some time out for this. In Dallas I hate to say this but I truly believe that the officer would of kept on driving. St. Louis cops must care a little more.

He probably just finished getting his doughnuts. I heard they don't pay attention until after at least 4 doughnuts and a coffee. "To serve and protect."
