Question O2 sensor wiring cut

I recently installed the Invidia O2 housing and had to cut the O2 sensor wiring and lengthen it about 4 inches. Will this give an incorrect reading to the ECU and make the care run differently. Reason why I am asking, because my car just doesn't seem to have that extra top-end umph, as it use to have before the install.

the extra length probably wont matter. DO you have a check engine light? I dont think the o2 sensor changes any ecu settings it just tells you if somethings wrong. You may need a tune after the housing for the top end power

No check engine light yet. I went to Atlantic Motorsports (Gaithersburg, MD) last week, and they said that it could have something to do with it.
