how to remove plastic back of seats?
how to remove plastic back of seats?
does anybody know how to remove the backs of the stock seats?
two reasons
(1)I'm having lower back problem and want to put some memory foam in the lower lumbar area
(2) if easy enough I also want to put some heated seat elements in there.
if I can't pull this off I'll have to buy an after market seat.

I'm no expert here, but I believe if you pop off the two black plastic sets of "holes" that are in the seat there are screws available to remove the plastic. There should be a place to stick a screwdriver to pop them out and they come out pretty easily... but that is just the beginning of getting them apart.
On a side note you should probably talk to an ergonomics professional... I really don't think memory foam in an upright seating position will help... in fact it will probably hurt. Most of the old nerds I work with have switched from nice comfy soft chairs to simple vertical hardback chairs on doctor's recommendation and they say their back feels better every day. You have to make sure you don't slouch and it may take a little getting used to, but you don't want to debilitate yourself for something stupid like that.
