Only on the MR edition that you can swap the two without needing a kit, all other GSR or RS model which does not come with the 3-gauge kit WILL need a relocate kit.

My MR came with the radio in the lower position. Can't imagine that the gauges are actually usable in the lower console...

That was the first thing i did with mine. Right as i got home from the dealer! lol

Moved the gauges up and put the boost gauge on the left side.

Its real easy!

the RS does come with the three gauges just like the MR, it was one of my first mods to switch them to the top

You don't need nothing. Just some electrical tape to possibly rewire some wires. That was actually my first ever mod on my back then stock MR.

I do have a relocation radio kit if you are interested.

don't forget to change the color of the light bulbs when you do the swap, or pull it out later, and a little bit of 1/8th inch rubber insulation will fill any gaps you'll have.
2 paint pens, Yellow and 4 or 5 red stripes vertically

How-to already exists

Here's the how-to for the radio and gauge cluster swap:

I followed this when I first got my MR. It's easy... definitely recommend having zip-ties handy since there are quite a few wires back there.
