I think it's kind of unfair to have a mini cooper and a focus as competition. I think a Solstice would be more appropriate for the domestic guys and maybe use a BMW or a VW for the europeans.

Quote: I thought it was funny when they said "we got to make this evo RS lighter" so they took the alum. hood off and put a heavier carbon 'super rice edition" hood on instead.

and the fact that that leader guy from Skunk keeps calling it a evo 8!
Yeah, That really irks me as well. Also, What exactly is an EVO R32? I'm confused!

didnt one of the past match ups have a cobalt, gti, and SKYLINE contest? Seems like they always pick a dedicated sports car along with 2 street cars

Street Tuner Challenge Season 3
2nd episode is Oct. 24, 10PM Eastern.

Season 2 had a Mustang, GTI, and a Fit. It's about how much you can improve the car compared to its stock version. There's performance and also audio, appearance, etc.

I wondered about this also.... my friends from mynes (the guys in the red) helping the mini cooper team told me that the competition will be based off a "delta"

meaning that it goes off who makes the most power from what they started from.

so the evo was sitting at like 286hp, the mini around 200hp, and the focus around 150hp. if the focus and the mini make 300-400hp the evo will have to make 600-700hp to win. then comes the other stuff, drag/road racing, audio/show BS....ect.

the evo is for sure teh superior car in its stock forum and prob will pwn the comp after being modded....but dont count the other teams out, lets not forget the cosworth does make some quick foci and fireball tim and the mini camp are no joke as well.

the show set up is a little F&F, but again like i said its imports on speed so enjoy it while it lasts.

Wow, a widebody race Evo vs a mini cooper and Ford focus....its like Mike Tyson vs. Carrot Top and Britney Spears (celebrity deathmatch anyone?)

But don't forget that the cars are judged by how much the modified versions can improve over their STOCK form. Its really not a competition based on an evo vs focus vs mini, its like they are competing against themselves almost.

Good question, but I don't care how much muscle you add onto a flaky gay white man, he ain't gonna phase Mike Tyson (the old Mike Tyson)
The same analogy can be applied to adding modded parts to a FWD Ford Focus, no matter how power you add, it just creates traction problems and understeer hehe

evo r32
it was supposed to say RS and not R32....video editors screwed up (probably used the text from season one's R32)

the car is very nice and very fast

APR wide body and flat black looks sick! Can't wait to see the finished product.
