EVO - COBB - AccessPORT handheld programmer

new AccessPORT handheld programmer.
The AccessPORT can:
• Reprogram the factory engine control unit (ECU) with improved
tuning parameters through the on-board diagnostic (OBD-II) port
• Monitor vehicle sensor data using on-screen analog or digital gauges
• Read and clear engine diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
• Measure 0-60 and 1⁄4 mile times

 

COBB is alittle late with this, being that ECUflash is so popular.

 

I have had a bunch of customers try it out and have had great feedback from it. Hopefully one of them will chime in and let you know their opinions on it.

 

I feel it will have much better utility when the upcomming pro tuner application is released which allows us pro tuners to access the maps and make custom tunes for the units which the end user can then store and quickly change

The main advantage of Cobb over the so called "open source" or ecu flash application is the live tuning, map tracing and additional tunable parameters

Speaking as someone who has worked on the Cobb Subaru offerings for several years - the Cobb stuff is world class and they invest a lot of money to unlock a lot of functions.
