B&M short shifter question

Hey just got this in and it came with four spacers for the base of the shifter. Does this mean I dont have to buy upgraded ones? I guess it came with the shifter?

Take a picture of what you are describing... they might be or they might just be spacers for something else.

they look like normal spacers.. coz if this shifter drops down like the pirren u need to put the spaders under the bushings to lift it up thats if u fully adjust it..

I have this shifter...they are just spacers to keep the shifter linkage level. When you put a short shifter on, the shifter length is still close to the same length. The only difference in length is to ensure you aren't forcing the shift linkage too far after the car is in gear. The biggest difference (to make it a short shifter) is the pivot location. So when it moves up the shifter lever, then there will be more on the bottom side. These spacers make up that extra distance the lever sticks out towards the bottom so the linkage is still aligned pretty much like it was from the factory. Hope that helps.
