Who wants to see 2008 battle of the tuner???

I would like to see a battle of the tuner. One Evo, one tuner in a Dyno. All tuners like Dynoflash,Jester,TTP,Dapper Dan,Mellon tuning etc.... Let see who will make the most hp on a Dyno? Sounds good right? Basicaly its just an idea...they will be given 2 hours to tune the car(evo 8 or 9 modded or stock doesnt matter) who ever produce the most HP without any knocks wins the 2008 Battle of the Tuner! or shoud we call it 2008 Evo Tuner shootout!?

I would think the tuners would sponsor themselves... unless they don't think they're really the best.

Also, what restrictions would there be? All must tune on EcuFlash? Or on their personal choice? If you left it open we could fit all sorts of tuners/software in, from all over. Vishnu could bring an XEDE, etc etc.

sounds good..Im sure the tuners would enjoy/support it..well for the most part.if you win then your the big dog tuner and you will be busy for a while, but if you dont do so well you may not have customers for a little bit.

one evo with mods.cams, upgrade turbo, supporting mods,etc...and on AEM

see who can push out the most HP without knocks, blowing it on the dyno.

and not blowing the car up... there's the other problem... it would just be a test of who had the most *****... haha, didn't think of that till now.

Novel idea, but there are too many factors involved. To be fair it'd need to be 3 STOCK evos. I think it'd be pimp though!

It would be cool, but I personally don't think it would show who is the best tuner. It'll show who are some of the best, but because everyone will be tuning as aggressively as possible, it won't show usual tunes.

The will never and should never happen. I understand that the community wants a way to judge the best tuner, but I don't think the tuners themselves would do that to each other. If a clear cut winner were decided on, that tuner would get a vast majority of the future tuning business and there would likely be a huge mud-slinging episode on the forums ... especially if one of the big name tuners didn't win.

They would rather let their customers speak for them, and I agree with that approach. Please, let's keep competition in the market and force ALL of the tuners to put out their best work at a competitive rate.
