Hello Guys,

I am an expatriate living in Lagos, Nigeria, West Africa. I own an EVO VIII which I am trying to find out the model through the VIN number. I bought the car from the local Mitsu dealer but they have no clue which model it is or the country of origin.

When I plugged ECU Flash, the ROM says it is for EVO VII and not VIII!!

Some hints that may help you: the car does not come with full bucket Recaro, it has automatic windows and the Radio antenna is on the driver side. The "Evolution" sign on the back of the car is in Italic on the left hand side and not E V O L U T I O N V I I I (i.e. British models) So I am suspecting it is of US origin?

So what's the story here? Can anyone help me find this car's model and hence the original stock performance figures?
