Rumors, lies and reasons to run.....

Twice in the last 24 hours..............that's how many times I heard the rumor. I've read it, been asked about it and now it's growing.

Thought I'd address it here.

Nitrous oxide. Wonderful stuff, makes tons of HP. How much power do you want to add to your car? Put in the jets and it's instant. I am no fan of nitrous but I've run it and set plenty of records "back in the day" using it. My tube chassis Talon ran it, 7.81 @175 mph on a STOCK ECU, HKS VPC, GCC and 660 cc injectors. People said that was impossible then. We ran it in the Conquest, 8.5 at 158 mph. IF I need to run nitrous I will use it, in the cases of those two cars we were running at the top level of Import Racing against stick shift cars. Both those cars were equipped with automatic transmissions. It was impossible to build boost fast enough on the starting line to compete, so we used nitrous and it worked extremely well. I never hid the bottle, why hide it? We ran it, we ran fast and were competitive, if it takes nitrous to do that then so be it.

This brings me to the accusations of us using nitrous on our black EVO. Not that my word is worth much to some of the haters that don't know me but in my opinion what makes a man IS HIS WORD. With that said, "I am giving my word that there NEVER HAS BEEN A NITROUS BOTTLE IN OUR BLACK EVO, EVER." End of story. IF and WHEN I decide to put the bottle on the car I will gladly make it public. So far we've had no reason to use it, making more power has come extremely easy and we've continued improve. When the time comes that I cannot figure out how to go any faster then I will add nitrous to the car. I have absolutely NO problem with the thought/idea of adding it if and when I need to. For now though I am stating that we have NEVER-EVER had any nitrous on our black EVO, Daniel's 9 second red EVO or my 9 second white RS.

Next subject. My white RS. Seems as though there is a douche bag attempting to spread rumors that my car is not equipped with the HTA 35r that I state it is running. Once again I am giving my word that that is the EXACT turbo that is on the car.

I extend the offer to ANYONE-ANYTIME to come to Ohio, we'll go to the track or strap the cars on the dyno and duplicate the times/HP numbers we have claimed and then inspect or disassemble whatever is in question to prove it. When we do prove the facts I will expect to be paid in full for my time and effort to have to prove myself. Needless to say the results of us being caught lieing would be a huge blow to our business and priceless to any accuser.

Something else that came to mind while all of this was bothering me.

IF you are dealing with a shop that has to keep referencing Buschur Racing or AMS you may want to find another shop that can talk about something they have actually done instead. If the shop you are using is slow compared to everyone else and has to come up with BS excuses as to why, you may want to find another shop to deal with.

Excuses, rumors and lies are for loosers.

Thanks for letting me get this off my chest.

Everyone wants to "be like Mike" but instead of drinking gatorade they are drinking haterade for that deep down jealousy thirst. Test it for HGH, roids or anything else you want. All you will find is a bunch of man sweat and time that has been put into this car at BR by some of the greatest guys in the industry and one of the most highly respected shops we have today. Keep it going guys, we appreciate it.

I accuse Buschur of running a break-bear-warp-drive in their black EvoH.

Look! I have proof!

Why do you let those people bring you down David? You're better than that. We all know the kind of person you are and the kind of shop/company you run so don't sweat the small stuff. You will always have my business and I'm fairly sure I am not alone. Keep up the good work.

I was just at BR last week. Saw the black car. Saw the 04 RS. No NOS. I been around cars a long time, over 20 years. Be pretty hard to get a NOS system past me. Regardless of the brand of car. I have seen hidden systems on boats, tractor pulling tractors, truck pulling trucks. Small blocks, Big blocks, V-6, 4 cylinders, single cylinders. Also know everyone at BR a long time. When many of the EVO enthusiasts of todays era were riding big wheels. Its a common practice today, especially with the internet. To make many lofty claims and at the same time try to discredit others achievements. As many of you go through life and grow up. From a 20 something car enthusiast, to an adult in society. You will see many parallels in the workplace. No matter the industry you may end up in. I suggest learn all you can when younger. Ask questions. Make yourself smarter on the topics that interest you. And anyone who says Dave should just ignore the rumors. Put yourself in his position. If you spent a lot of time and effort on something. It was your business and achievements. It would bother you also. Especially when new car people read such trash on the internet, and not knowing any better believe it as true.
I rode in the RS this past week to. Oh its fast. I have some 9 sec bikes and have driven 9.00 cars. For reference. The RS is every bit a 9 sec car and with no NOS.

TBH my only qualm about BR is that they're in Ohio and not Washington State.

Other than that, <3<3<3<3 to them.

MOST everyone knows that you and AMS are the best

Screw the few haters on here, owning an Evo doesn't make people automatically intelligent.

Quite frankly, seeing a shop like BR who is always pushing the limits and passing on the benefits of your research and development down to us is just incredible! Keep up the good work and F$)* the haters!!! They dont know how good we have it
