I got mine modified by MPFab for $200 + my o2 housing ($300 total). Ithink it is worth it. I doub't we will ever see one that is mass produced (cheaper) & $200 labor to fabricate something seems reasonable to me. If you really want one I think it's worth the cost.

not from what some quote to gain over and above the aftermarket o2 housing alone. 200 bucks for say 10 to 15 hp?? thats awsome in my book..

 

I got one cause I want to squeeze every last bit out of my stock turbo without using race gas or meth. When you add up the cost of all the other mods I've done, the extra $200 doesn't hurt that bad. I've made worse decisions. Hell I paid $180 for an empty box last week

 

I've got a buddy in Phoenix with kick *** fab. capabilities that has asked about getting on of these on the market..I emailed this thread to him so he can gauge intrest in doing this. I already told him I would be willing to be a test pig on the product..

If you emailed him this thread then it should attest to itself. If you can find out what he would charge for doing this for several evo's then alot of people would probably be interested I imagine.

Well I finally picked up a cheap crappy ebay o2 housing to play with, and I've got to say I'm glad I'm going to be redoing it...the merge section from the wastegate to the exhaust side looks like someone cut a 3" long hole with a torch. For all the reviews that people seem to give these things they're utter garbage :P

 

Don't say that just yet. I know someone who is finalizing their design for mass production. Supposed to be pumping these out next week. I will provide further details as I have them. Price is around the $250 mark, as I was told.
