Shouldn't just get an 02 dump just for the sound. To me it is loud and obnoxious and will get the attention of the 5-0 and anyone within a 3 mile radius lol. Dont get me wrong, it sounds crazy but you should want a mod like that for quicker spool of your existing turbo. This was an awesome mod for DSM's and it should be equally good for the EVO's. I think you should go back and read my posts...

Its not just for sound, its for the fact that you completely control boost creep.

I fail to see how a WG dump is going to have any impact on the spoolup of a turbo. Almost by definition the fastest turbine spool is attained with the wastegate fully closed. And if the WG puck is closed, then there would be no exhaust flow out through the dump tube, woud there? So, why would I want his mod for quicker spool. Reduced backpressure at higher turbine wheel speeds maybe.

True, but the end result would be quicker spool. All in all it is a great mod, I'm not knocking it at all besides the sound. woof woof!

We are still drawing up a prototype. We will actually not be using an ebay or stock. It will be a custom dump. We think this is a much better design and will flow even smoother. I will keep you guys updated.

^ That would be a much better idea, and I'd rather have that. I would just need to sell off my eBay housing.

all that would be needed to be done is make a divided housing. a cast unit would be ideal but a definite pain as well. either way i agree about having a seperately flowing unit
