lower ic pipe

hi guys,

i have all the bolt-ons on my evo 8 and an upgraded turbo(evo 9 20g) but i still havent upgraded my lower ic pipe. how much of a difference does it make and how important is it at this point?? i am dynoed at 367 whp at 23 psi on a dynojet.

i was thinking of doing a hard pipe kit or just getting an aftermarket licp.

let me know what you think.

thanks.

I personally went with a complete ETS set up and love it

my buddy was over tonight helping me with my car and he has an AMS licp and intercooler...he commented he likes the design of the ETS licp much better

I have had no problems with it and it definitely improves spool up

Is there any data that the LIC improves spool up? If anyone has the data I will consider getting one too, but I've been skeptical since I haven't seen before and after results on the dyno. People have said they've were faster in their trap speeds, but that's like tenths of seconds. There's so much variation to say it 'improves spool up' without standard repetitive data. I can loose 5lbs on weight and say it improves spool up.

I didn't feel any difference. Noticed much more of a difference when switched the recir valve from stock (plastic) to the ix (metal).

I can't believe you have never heard of ETS(Extreme Turbo Systems)Go to the EVO Vendor classifieds and look under External Power. There should be a thread for a ETS intercooler sale.Or you can search for the user name ETS Tom.
