When I was looking back in MAY for a new IX, all of NYC area and LI was sold out. Potamkin Mitsubishi in manhattan had one MR-SE left that they used as a display in this year's auto show. 4-5 guys were interested and I backed off. I ended up buying from Cali, but this late in the game even South Coast and the likes are sold out. Supposedly there is a single brand new WWIX on Norco Mitsu's showroom, but they want $42,000 for it. Your best bet is to look towards MA and possibly CT. Good luck.

I was looking all over 3 months ago for a White MR Evo. I found two from Norco and was willing to pay 36k plus tax/title bc they were the only White MRs left. But they are a bunch of A-holes and never called me back. I called them every other day for about a week and said screw it! Ended up finding one for 32k 3 hrs away from my house in Columbus with 6700 miles on it.

I know a few places in So Cal still have plenty of IX's left

Yes Norco is going to be tough to deal with but he has a LOT full of Evo's. Yes, I saw it in person. I was shocked. The owner was smart and he bought them up from dealers all over within the last few months.

You can try South Coast Mitsubishi in So. California. You can arrange a shipping with them. Last time I checked, they a few left and a black EVO IX SE.

Check 'em... http://www.southcoastmitsubishi.com/

I called the Mitsu dealership a few days a go, and they are going to have X's out on the lot in late February-March. At least that is what they said...he might me full of crap. However, if it is true than finding a IX will be hard.

I know there's a dealer here in Illinois selling brandnew EVO IX still. The problem is, with automatic transmission.

Must be an Evo IX GT Wagon. . . that is JDM yo!

Though in all seriousness, if they are selling an auto evo, it really is a wagon, and probably the only one in the states, and you should buy it. . . its #1 of 1 !!!!
