car isnt pulling anymore

my clutch isnt slipping, im boosting normal, no codes at all. what other problems might there be? my car just dont pull anymore usually after 4000 rpm. i only have 18k on my car. could the stock plugs go bad this early? i barely beat on the car. redline like maybe once or twice a week. i would think its because im used to the power but even my girl asked me why doesnt her neck jerk when i hit boost. it just feels like its not pulling hard anymore when boost hits. what might the problem be?

What mods do you have? Are you familiar with boost leak tests? There are some threads on here that describe how to make your own boost leak tester and how to perform the test.

it is tuned and my mods are mbc, fuel pump, intake and tbe. its been tuned for about 5 months now. i know how my car feels and its been happening for about a week now. the car isnt pulling like it should and it still reads the same psi as when the car pulled normal.

you still could be leaking boost even if your boost gauge reads the same. I say make sure all of your clamps are tight and nothing is loose.

if there is a boost leak, will the vacuum reading change on the boost gauge?? i use to idle at -19hg now im around -16hg. the clamps seem tight and nothing seems loose but i didnt check the ones near the intercooler.

you will never know if u have a boost lea unless you do it proper pressure test is done, you can not tell just by checking the clamps,i would start by doing the boost leak test, and then change your plugs.......and if all else's fails do a compresion test,
but i just to my car out today to and it felt like something was holding it back any way good luck

yes, boost leak usually also means vacuum leak. I would test everything.

I am no expert, but i would think that if the vaccume reading has lessend that you are experiencing overall less pressure, which is why you are seeing the 16. Have you recently put on a new bov, icp or anything? Something is loose
