Ngk Iridium Spark Plugs

I have modded my evo 8 with a TBE, mbc (boostin 18psi), evo 9 bov, hks drop in filter and have flashed my ecu.....should I get new plugs installed and if so should I get better ones?? Can someone please break it down to where it makes sense becuz I've heard different things from many people and I just want my car to be reliable with the mods I have. Thx

Why are you only running 18psi?

Personally I run NGK copper's and change them with every oil change, the iridiums are a good plug, but I prefer to run fresh coppers.

The Iridium plug's claim to fame is that it will go 60 K before needing replacement. Other than that it is just another spark plug.

Yeah I agree here. Iridiums are way too expensive and benefit you nothing on a modded car - as most modders keep their stuff fresh. Copper NGKs are dirt cheap - $2 a plug or so.
