Insurance money for a totaled evo??
when my civic got stolen, liberty mutual (no state farm here) gave me less than kelly blue book. i was so pissed. i had mods but they said they would not cover it. liberty mutual sucks *****. i hate them. state farm rules. when i lived in chicago and my radio got stolen, they let me buy my replacement and paid me back, no questions asked. great service and great price.
I totaled my car back in February (hit a patch of black ice) and insurance (Liberty Mutual at the time) gave me the Suggested Retail Value in the bluebook which was something like $24,500 for an '04 RS with 36k miles.
if any of you don't know this info plz do not respond, yes its you "evolness".
For my 03, here is what they did, they call up many different dealerships and avg all the quotes plus the tax. the value is very good, similar to book value. I got ALMOST 28k then minus $1000 deductible. The car was less than a year old and I purchase it in 2004 and total it in 2005, yes it's the 03 model. I bought the left over.
