Today as I was driving back from an interview, my SES light came on...

I havent installed any new mods lately, other than turning my boost down.

Im going outside right now with my laptop to see if I can find out what code its throwing...

Any ideas in the meantime?

here is a few steps to follow...

1. dont make a thread unless u know the code
2. go get the code pulled
3. if its a common code such as the P0300 code, do a search
4. if u cant find the code after using the SEARCH feature, then make a thread.

 

is evoscan accurate with its DTC's? im trying to get the code but it keeps telling me "No Evo4 DTC's pressent"

 

ok evoscan is telling me "Vehicle Speed Sensor"?

edit: i had evoscan recheck, now it lists:

vehicle speed sensor
knock sensor
egr sensor

edit2: im downloading scan tech to my laptop so i can check the codes again

 

showing P0300 when using scantech

fixed the problem....ill be doing a little reading on the P0300 code...
