popping sound while idling.

ok everyday something else goes wrong with my car and i barely beat it, i drive like a grandma. lately my car has been running like crap, it doesnt pull at all. something is seriously not right. now when my car idles it would make a loud pop from the exhaust like backfiring. what can cause this noise while idling? can a boost leak do this?

Boost leaks cause you to run rich, and richness causes you to backfire. That's a possibility.
