Question Another HID thread

After sifting through a bunch of HID threads. I just had a few questions that I found mutiple answers through. I am looking at changing out my stock HID bulbs to 6000k but I dont know which company to go through I have looked at Kaixen and at PlasmaGarage both show 6000k at purplish, i thought 6000k was blue. I am just looking for a good company to order through, any help would be appreciated.

I thought that 4300K is clear white, 5000K had a hint of blue in it, 6000K has a deeper blue then 5000K and 8000K are purple/violet.

I have the Kaixen 4000K HID kit and it's been great so far.

8000k is iceberg blue (bluish white)
10000k is a deeper blue
12000k is violet

so since some evos dont come with fog lights, such as mine, can u just buy 2 HID kits put one in the normal headlight spot and one where the fog lights are supposed to be and splice them together to have both turn on at the same time when u flip the switch for the normal lights

it varies depending on the company....

I've had this set for over a year now, no issues

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PILOT...spagenameZWDVW

the 8000's have a blueish tint equal to some companies 6000.....

while my friend has the phillips kit and his 6000 is pretty blue, much bluer than mine...

Cheers!

I have Kaixen 6500k. Got them from Autododad. Great vendor. Love the hid kit. My first and best mod. Mine have a purpleish tint to them kind of like factory lexus'. My friend has the 6000k's and his are more pure white w/ blue tint more like factory Evo's. Great quality and have been on for about 1 year w/out any problems.

I got mine straight from their factory while in Korea. The quality is unbelievable and price was around 250 usd. I got the 6000k one and and as groove304 mentioned, it is bright white with some skyblueness into it. 6500k is the light purplish one. 8000k is really really blue, pretty much blue at any angle, a little ricey imo. If you want pure function, there it no need to get anything outside 5000k range (like around 4500-5500k).

H11 is the USDM fog light...9006 is the JDM fog light (if you have the JDM headlights)
