I don't know if he has more recent pics, but I really like RichiW's car:

Great looking car, killer mods and unique exhaust.

Damn look at those rotors! I nominate Blacktrack's rotors and evo8act's green machine. Very nice indeed.

I don't see why we can't have some nice "stock-like" photos. IMO too many of the "best of the best" just look like riced out show cars.

Here's mine. Stock- like on the outside - no rice. It might be nice to feature a car that isn't an ad for somewhat tasteless aftermarket parts, though it certainly doesn't have to be my Evo. FWIW, a high-rez file is available. Good luck with the calender!

Nice! I'll be disappointed if this pic doesn't make it.

Let me qualify the no stock looking cars statement. We do not need mega bling cars, but at the same time, it is not going to be interesting to the purchasing audience to see a stock evo in a driveway. The talon snow picture is a perfect way to have a stock appearing car be cool. There are two important parts to any submission and heavy on one can help to balance a little low on the other. First is an impressive to look at car (take that however you want), and second is an impressive photograph. The talon pic is such an impressive shot that it makes it ok to be basically stock. Also, the most impressive car here will not make it in if the picture is not good.

I like this pic...especially for the rotors, but am not huge on the framing. Will have to think on it

These pictures need to be inspiring and something that you (the entire audience) will want to look at for a month. I need to see the best picture available of every submission as ther eis no time for reshoots. Everything must be in this week

I don't want to argue with you, Charles, and I had little or no expectation of my car being included. I mentioned that in my post. Perhaps I wasn't clear and I apologize for that.

I posted the pic as an example of the type of car I'd like to see. Meaning, one that wasn't decorated for the sake of being decorated. Nor do I think that having the calendar as a vehicle for (implicit) advertisements does much good for the high-performance Evo community, especially when the parts in question are cosmetic in their nature.

In addition, it's bad enough knowing that the aggregate opinion of our cars revolves around a negative sentiment and I really don't see how riced-out Evos can change that perception.

Happy Holidays to you and yours!
