I got around 12k to spend. and i know someone who can get me an 8 for like 12 not crashed or i can get a 9 but crashed. he will repair it and it will look like new but im not sure which to go with.What do you guys think i should do?

 

if you can get a evo for under 13k not crashed it must have a bazillion miles on it....

i would go with the 9 fixed...

 

its got to be a salvage....even an 03 with 50000miles is going to be 18000.

 

between those two the 9...but really none of those sound like a good deal. How much you would end up spending on fixing the 9?

My Dad is really good friends with the guy. and he was able to get my brother an Srt4 for like 7g not crashed so the guy can get them cheap.had 28k miles and was 2004

huh... bro unless you find a pos blown up evo you aint gonna be able to only spend 12. a very very very used evo goes for 18/19. its hard to find a good one even around 20/21ish.

 

while on this topic, say im getting a quote on saturday...if we find one...but which model, is mr worth it? is it just springs added? or base package works just the same...im new, i do 1.8ts...lol but its time to upgrade..

can you still find the 9s at dealers anywhere? cuz apparently in south florida, they are scarce...mostly used private sellers??

Or use like $5k down get yourself an 06 IX then the rest on mods??

 

from experience going down this road once. i was going to buy a wrecked evo and fix it cause that way i would own it out right. i ended up buying a new one and using my 16k for down. The reason i did this was cause every freakin crashed evo ix was selling for like 14k+ and plus repairs done labor free at my old job would have made the final cost like 20+k. So i choose to play it safe and get a new car. Also i was trying to buy the crashed evos thru a dealer only auction
