New bone stock

I got an evo 8 last night from my uncles friend for 18k. i got 2k to spend on mods and im willing to spend it all at once. what can i do with 2k to get most speed? !

Btw my brother has an Srt and i dont wanna be slower than him.he runs pretty good,stock turbo,just like bolt ons.(pulls alot harder than me) for now! muhuhahaha.

Evos respond well to light mods so you should make decent power. If hes still faster just put you rear windows down in front of him.

Turbo-back, boost controller and a tune will have you running low 12s with good driving...you should pull on the SRT if he just has simple bolt-ons as well. Depending on if you go manual or electronic boost controller and what brand of exhaust you choose, you may have plenty of money left over for cams if you'd like as well.

im not 100% sure but i think the uk spec evo IX was released in 2005...either that or the guy really is a complete noob haha...

in Some Countries ! the Evo IX has been released in 2005 and considered to be an 05.
