i got these (Fierce) tires free from sponsorship with Dunlop. they aren't made for snow but they do OK. i have some Blizzacks stacked up in my garage waiting to go on.. guess the waiting is over =)

 

What you probably mean is Evo ABS sucks in the snow. I've been meaning to wire in a switch to turn mine off but haven't had the time yet. Maybe I'll get to that before we get dumped on again.

i highly suggest you change them... they are very dangerous to drive on. I just put on nokian rsi's and can't wait to try them out

 

Stock Advans? Snow? That's what I like to call suicide.
Wait until you go over a concrete surface. It'll be like an ice rink. Get those tires swapped asap. You can't even go faster than 3 mph without sliding on summer tires.

ABS almost killed me twice today. I've never had a car with ABS before... I hate ABS. As far as AWD in snow

 

had to drive my car to work this morning on stock advans.... It was fncking terrifying. I used four lanes to make a right turn once, Tommy makkinen-ed a corner I had no intention of doing so with, and then rolled pat the entrance to work abs having a field day. Thank god it was 4:30 AM and nobody was around. to thhe carr's credit, I never once felt like the car was going to spin. which was disorienting but pleasant.

I picked up some FUZION HRI’s and they do allot better than the ADVANS here in Alaska.

 

I highly recommend the nokian hakka rsi's...
